Various Types of SQL JOINs
The many JOIN types in SQL are as follows:
- (INNER) JOIN: Returns records with values that are identical across both tables.
- LEFT (OUTER) JOIN: Records from a (INNER) JOIN are those that have values that are consistent between both tables.
- RIGHT (OUTER) JOIN: Brings back all of the data from the right table as well as the matched entries from the left table.
- FULL (OUTER) JOIN: When there is a match in either the left or right table, it returns all records.
