HTTP Status Code

What Is Status Code?

A server answer to a browser’s request is represented by an HTTP status code. When you visit a website, your browser makes a request to the site’s server, and the server answers with a three-digit code known as the HTTP status code.

Common five ranges and their definitions :

1xxs – Informational responses: The request is being considered by the server.

2xxs – Success! The server successfully processed the request and provided the browser with the desired outcome.

3xxs – You were redirected to a different location. Although the request was received, there was some sort of rerouting.

4xxs – Page not found client errors. The website or page was inaccessible. (The request was made, but the page is invalid. This is a mistake on the website’s end of the discussion and frequently occurs when a page doesn’t exist on the site.))

5xxs – server issues: Failure. The client made a legitimate request, but the server was unable to fulfill it.
